A whole-of-building feasibility study for strata: roof and common-property loads, 12 months of bills, shared solar, battery and EV charging options, incentives and a financial model.
From $1,500 (Per building ($1,500-$5,000+)), including GST. Indicative starting price: the final fixed price is confirmed in writing after a site assessment.
Apartment buildings can reduce common-property electricity costs with solar, batteries and well-planned EV charging, but owners need a clear picture before they vote. Our Strata Solar, Battery and EV Feasibility Study looks at the whole building: what the roof can support, what the common property actually uses, and which combination of shared solar, battery storage and EV charging makes sense for your scheme.
The study is priced from $1,500 per building as an indicative starting price. Larger or more complex buildings take more work, and we confirm the fixed price in writing before we start.
Every building is inspected in person; we do not rely on satellite images alone. We design and install solar, batteries and EV chargers, so the options in the study are ones that can actually be delivered in your building. Blue Energy Solar is a New Energy Tech Approved Seller, which NSW strata funding requires, our installers are SAA-accredited and all electrical work is done by our licensed electricians.
Strata committees and owners corporations that want a costed picture of solar, battery and EV charging options before putting a motion to owners.
From 1 September 2026, NSW offers incentives for eligible apartment buildings with at least 4 units that install shared batteries of 20-200 kWh usable capacity, with a larger incentive when qualifying new or additional solar is installed in the required period. Confirm current values on the official NSW page before the owners corporation signs.
What affects the price: the number of units and buildings, roof complexity, car park size, data availability and whether solar for individual lots is modelled. Any installation needs owners corporation approval and network approval.
1. The committee or strata manager requests the study and sends 12 months of common-property bills.
2. We confirm the scope and fixed price in writing and schedule a building inspection.
3. Our team inspects the roof, main switchboard, car park and common-property equipment.
4. We model solar, battery and EV charging options, incentives and the financial case.
5. We deliver the report and walk the committee through the options and next steps.
The price shown is an indicative starting price; the final fixed price is confirmed in writing after we review the building size and scope.
Safe access to the roof, plant rooms, switchboards and car park must be arranged through the strata manager or building manager.
Savings, payback and incentive figures are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Any works require owners corporation approval and may also need a by-law, council approval and network approval.
Installation is quoted separately.
