Remote monitoring catches many faults, but some problems only show up in person: a damaged cable, water in an isolator enclosure, heat stress on an inverter or panels that need cleaning. The Plus Care Plan combines 12 months of remote monitoring and performance analysis with a scheduled inspection of your system and priority support when you need help.
The Plus plan is $349 a year, an indicative current plan price that is confirmed when you join. Repairs, parts and cleaning are quoted separately in writing before any work goes ahead.
What's included
Connection of your system's monitoring data to our team, where your equipment allows it
Remote monitoring for faults, offline equipment and unexpected drops in output
Performance analysis comparing output with expected production for your system and location
Priority support, with your requests handled ahead of standard service requests
One scheduled inspection of panels, mounting, isolators, cabling, inverter and switchboard connections
A written inspection summary with photos and any recommended actions
Why Blue Energy Solar
Our inspections are carried out by our licensed electricians and trained solar team, who know how systems age in Sydney heat, coastal air and regional frosts. We look at the system as a whole, from the roof to the switchboard, and explain what we found in plain terms. If everything is healthy, we tell you and leave it there. If something needs work, you receive a clear written quote and the choice of what to do.
Recommended for
Solar owners who want remote monitoring backed by a scheduled inspection and faster support when something goes wrong.
A scheduled inspection is a preventive check, not a repair visit. It helps catch issues such as water in isolators, damaged cables, loose connections, vermin damage and inverter ventilation problems before they cause failures or safety risks.
Remote monitoring needs internet-connected monitoring; a monitoring kit or replacement gateway may be needed first.
Panel cleaning is not included, and can be arranged separately through our Solar Panel Cleaning service.
Battery and EV charger monitoring and a tariff and VPP review are part of the Premium plan.
Please do not go onto the roof yourself to check your panels; that is part of what the inspection is for.

Remote monitoring requires working internet-connected monitoring that we can access.
The plan includes one scheduled inspection within the plan year; additional visits are quoted separately.
Repairs, parts, panel cleaning and warranty claim work are not included and are quoted separately in writing.
Roof access during the inspection depends on safe conditions on the day.
Frequently Asked Questions
When you raise a request, it is handled ahead of standard service requests, both for remote diagnosis and for scheduling a technician visit if one is needed. Timing still depends on the issue, weather and location, particularly for regional properties. For urgent safety issues, such as a burning smell or scorch marks, keep clear, follow the shutdown procedure on your system label if safe, and contact us.
We schedule it with you during the plan year, at a time that suits your household. Before summer, when systems produce the most, or after a period of storms are both sensible times. The inspection covers the array, mounting, cabling, isolators, inverter and switchboard connections where safely accessible, followed by a written summary with photos.
The Plus plan focuses on your solar system. If you have a battery or EV charger, or add one during the year, the Premium plan covers battery and EV monitoring, optimisation, an annual on-site inspection and a tariff and VPP review. Talk to us about moving to Premium when you add new equipment, and we will explain the difference.
No. The inspection notes whether soiling is affecting your panels, and the performance analysis shows whether output is dropping, but cleaning is a separate service. Professional panel cleaning typically costs $150-$300, depending on system size and access. Rain keeps many Sydney roofs reasonably clean, so we only recommend cleaning when it is likely to make a real difference.
