When your solar system stops producing, shows an error message or keeps tripping, every sunny day lost costs you money. The cause could be simple, such as a tripped circuit breaker or a grid voltage event, or more serious, such as an earth fault, water in an isolator or a failed inverter. Finding the real cause quickly avoids guesswork and unnecessary part replacement.
Our licensed electrician attends your property, checks the inverter logs, isolators, strings and switchboard, and uses test equipment to trace the fault. Minor issues can often be resolved within the first hour, and for larger repairs you receive a clear written quote. The call-out is $249 including the first hour on site; this is an indicative price, confirmed with you when we schedule the visit.

Stay safe while you wait. Solar panels produce DC voltage whenever there is daylight, even when the system is switched off at the switchboard. Don't open the inverter, isolators or junction boxes, and don't go onto the roof. If you see smoke or scorching, or smell burning, keep clear and treat it as an emergency.
If your inverter is under warranty, the manufacturer may require a fault report before approving a replacement, and our diagnosis supports that. Extra time beyond the first hour, parts and repairs are quoted and approved by you first. Travel to locations well outside Sydney may be quoted separately.

3. The electrician tests the system and traces the fault on site.
4. Minor issues are fixed within the first hour where possible, and any hazard is made safe.
5. You receive a written diagnosis and a quote for any further repair.
The price covers the call-out and the first hour on site for one solar system.
Additional time, parts and repairs are quoted and only carried out with your approval.
Roof access is only undertaken where safe; special access equipment is quoted separately.
Travel to locations outside our standard service area may incur an additional charge, confirmed before the visit.
Warranty claims are assessed and decided by the equipment manufacturer.
